Identify Your Tap Thread
Determine whether your tap thread is internal or external.
Identify the Adaptor You Need
Measure your tap and match the correct adaptor.
STEP 1 - WHAT TYPE OF TAP DO YOU HAVE?
Select your tap type below to find the right installation path for your Quantum Benchtop Water Filter.
A) Standard Mixer Tap
You will notice at the end of the faucet there will be a small piece that is able to be screwed on / off.
Go to Step 2
C) No Aerator
You will notice an open end on your tap with no aerator or thread visible.
Go to Step 3D) Retractable / Veggie Sprayer Tap
Due to the design of the retractable or veggie sprayer tap, a bench top filter is unable to be attached correctly. You may want to consider installing an under sink filter.

Once your aerator has been removed you need to determine the thread type.
A) Internal / Female Thread
The thread is on the inside of the tap. This will need a male adaptor.
Go to Step 3
B) External / Male Thread
The thread is exposed and is on the outside of the tap. This will need a female adaptor.
Go to Step 3STEP 3 — IDENTIFY THE ADAPTOR SIZE YOU NEED
In this step you need to measure the diameter of your aerator or the end of your tap in millimetres (mm) to match the size of the tap adaptor in the next step.
Internal / Female Thread
After you have removed the aerator, use a ruler to measure the diameter (mm) of your aerator for an internal / female thread.
External / Male Thread
Use a ruler to measure the diameter (mm) of the end of your tap for external / male thread.
No Aerator
Using a ruler, measure the diameter (mm) of the end of your tap opening.
Send our team a photo of your faucet, and we'll help identify the correct adaptor so you can get your system installed with confidence.
